“The more we entrust women with what we entrust them by consensus also in our homes, the better it will be for everyone.”
At a special reception on March 8 at the Palace of Brigades, in the presence of women engaged in the social, political and cultural life in Albania, Prime Minister Edi Rama, accompanied by his wife Linda, said that this day is an invitation to think about the power of the irreplaceable role of women in every aspect of life.
“I am convinced that the more women have a place in society, and the more we entrust them with what we entrust them by consensus also in our homes, the more we become aware that their irreplaceable role in every family is as much irreplaceable in our society, the better it will be for everyone. Above all, the better it will be also for men because, ultimately, being a man who loves a woman does not mean that he is generous, but it means that he is aware of the fact that the better women around him are, the better for him, the better society is thanks to women, the better for us. I can assure all men that the lesser they fear women’s leading role, the safer and protected they will be”, Prime Minister Rama said.
