Prime Minister Edi Rama received today the Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and thanked her for visiting Albania in this key moment for the future of the country.
The discussion between the Prime Minister and Ms Nuland focused on Justice Reform. Prime Minister Rama reiterated his position that the ruling majority will remain until the last day open to any compromise that does not affect the substance of reform, which has been assessed by our strategic partners to be in full compliance with the common objective to have a justice system worthy of a European Union member country.
Thanking the Prime Minister for the great effort on the path of this reform, Victoria Nuland stressed that the United States expects all parties to close this process with the success that Albania and the Albanian people deserve.
