Nine-year school “Ahmetaq” in the municipality of Vore is the next newly-built educational facility to meet contemporary standards for habitability and environmental comfort for pupils and teachers and provide spaces for optimum education.

The new modern school, which was visited by the Prime Minister Edi Rama today afternoon, delivers contemporary standards that put it on par with any educational facility in any European city. “It is a modern educational facility, featuring also auxiliary premises. Some 215 pupils will now attend classes in a brand new modern environment. The new school has 8 classrooms, 3 labs and a gym,” the Minister of State for Reconstruction Arben Ahmetaj said, adding among other things that “Vora is one of the main quake-affected municipalities where new schools and houses are being built under the post-earthquake reconstruction program.”

“Many single-family homes, apartment buildings and infrastructure are also being built here in Vora,” Ahmetaj said.

Prime Minister Rama visited classrooms and other auxiliary school premises, which have been expanded allowing for schoolchildren to attend one-shift classes.

With the demolition and expropriation of buildings adjacent to the new school, an ample space becomes part of the new educational facilities to be used for different learning classes and by students during breaks.
