Prime Minister Edi Rama and Mohamed El Alabbar, the founder of the Emirati multinational real estate development EMAAR Group located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), visited Spitalle in Durres, the area selected to host a new residential neighbourhood, whose construction is set to commence in the next few weeks. The grand Eco Part of Durres is being built adjacent to the new residential complex for the quake-affected families in the area.
The government head Rama said that the area will undergo complete radical transformation that will significantly improve quality of life for local residents. “This whole new and beautiful area will be combined with an ecological park, recreational environments for children, and the elderly and young people. Further on, we will transform a terrible dam where trashes and urban waster were burned, while an ecological park will be built on that hill there, whereas further one an economic area and the new tourist port will be built and the existing old seaport will be located. The projects will transform the city, which will become a completely different destination,” the Premier said.
EMAAR Group is one of the largest real estate developers in the UAE and is known for various large-scale fantastic projects all over the world. The company executive said “it is an honour for us to take part and help Albanian people to fulfil their dream.”
