With the work at the reconstruction sites in full steam ahead, the families affected by the November 2019 earthquake are signing individual housing contracts for homes or apartments in the new residential complexes. The process continued today with the signing of 10 housing contracts for the first group of quake-affected families entitled to benefit housing in the new KominArt residential neighbourhood  due to be built under the ongoing post-earthquake reconstruction programme in Kombinat, Tirana municipality. 

The families entitled to benefit housing in the new residential complex signed the contracts in the presence of a notary.

The signing ceremony was attended by PM Rama and the Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj. 

The KombinArt residential neighbourhood, which in addition to providing housing for the families affected on the night of November 26, is designed to be transformed into an area dedicated to art, culture and a contemporary urban model. Kombinat will no longer be a poor Tirana suburb, but it will be transform into one of the most modern urban areas in the capital.
