The centre of the town of Roskovec has been totally transformed after undergoing a urban requalification project that has revitalized the whole space.
Prime Minister Edi Rama stopped over in the town of Roskovec on the way to a visit to the southern city of Fier to inspect a series of investments recently made in this municipality. Roskovec Mayor Majlinda Bufi said that the main square’s revitalization has not only given a fresh urban look to the town, but has also helped local economy to grow. The investment project, according to Mayor Bufi, has brought positive effect on businesses and service units operating around the town’s centre.
The Roskovec Municipality building has been transformed into a building designed to meet European standards in delivering public services to citizens with integrated offices for the citizens to receive timely services in decent conditions without having to wait on long queues.

The Urban Renaissance programme in Ballsh is giving shape to a largely-neglected artificial lake in the town, which is being transformed into an important tourist attraction thanks to a project aimed at revitalizing the whole area. The project entails creating of recreational spaces around the lake area. Rehabilitation of the lake area is expected to give a fresh impetus to the area’s development through creation of required recreational spaces. A mini soccer pitch, basketball court, ping-pong tables, as well as a playground for kids will all create an attraction for Ballsh residents.
