The Municipality of Vora, one of the areas worst affected by the devastating earthquake that hit Albania on November 26, 2019, is being transformed under the post-earthquake Reconstruction Programme in the country. The newly-built kindergarten is ready to welcome back local kids in the village of Marqinet.
Prime Minister Edi Rama, accompanied by the Minister of State for Reconstruction Arben Ahmetaj, toured premises of the new kindergarten that is ready to welcome kids back to new facility built back much better, more resilient and spacious according to best European standards.
The new kindergarten will open its doors to 85 local children in September.
Hundreds of new educational facilities and kindergartens are being built in the quake-affected areas under the Reconstruction Programme across the country.
