From Elbasan, Prime Minister Edi Rama wished today every Albanian a Happy Summer Day.

Accompanied by the Mayor of Elbasan Qazim Sejdini, Ministers Edmond Haxhinasto and Nasip Naço, and MPs Taulant Balla and Evis Kushi, the Prime Minister visited the Fair “Summer Day 2015”.

The Prime Minister greeted citizens who had come to Elbasan to visit the fair and celebrate Summer Day. While visiting the stands of the fair, the Prime Minister talked to traders about their activity. Many of these entrepreneurs trade products in foreign markets, while others expressed the ambition to start exporting their products.

As a regular follower of this fair, the Prime Minister noted the number of participant increased this year. “I notice with pleasure that both the number of participants and the demand have increased, but what is more encouraging is that a significant proportion of participants with local products are looking at exports. Some of them have started to sign export contracts, others are in negotiations. This is the best news of this Summer Day”- the Prime Minister said.

Then, the Prime Minister joined the many citizens in the city’s main boulevard, with whom he exchanged congratulations on Summer Day.

During his stay in Elbasan, Prime Minister Rama inspected the works for the realization of a series of infrastructure works in the city such as road reconstruction, renovation of the facades of buildings and lighting. These projects are funded by the Regional Development Fund.
