A warm and friendly visit to the house of President Hashim Thaçi’s parents, in the village of Burojë, Kosovo, where Prime Minister Rama stopped by together with some of his cabinet members in the government delegation to attend the joint meeting of the governments of Albania and Kosovo in Prishtina.

Prime Minister Rama was extended a warm welcome by the parents, the spouse, son and other family members of Mr. Hashim Thaçi, with talks focusing on the visit and meeting with President Thaçi in The Hague.

“I visited Hashim. He was fine. He is not one of those who show it, but he looked really very good. You are strong, as father as son apparently, “the Prime Minister told Mr. Thaçi’s father.

Afterwards, Prime Minister Rama and Mr. Thaçi’s family exchanged some symbolic gifts, as a sign of mutual respect and esteem between them.
