A growing number of international media outlets, travel bloggers and influencers are increasingly promoting Albania and its main tourism attractions and most popular destinations for everyone to visit.

After recent feature stories on the Spanish media promoting Albania as a must-see destination and its emerging tourism industry, it is now the turn of the German media paying attention to the country’s tourist potentials.

Leading German newspaper “Die Zeit” recently posted a story on situation of the Albanian tourism, pointing out the magic of the Albanian Riviera and the country’s rich flora and fauna. Prime Minister edi Rama posted the feature story on his Facebook account, also attaching official data on Albania’s tourism sector in a bid to share data on the increasing international visitor numbers during the ongoing summer season.

“More than 100,000 German tourists visited Albania in the last seven months, up from 52,000 German visitors entering the country during the same period of the previous year,” PM Rama wrote on Facebook, adding:

“German media keep up with the already established tradition of promoting Albania, with the leading newspaper Die Zeit this time dedicating a feature story on Albanian Riviera, its flora and fauna,” the Premier said.

Main British, French and Spanish media have all promoted Albania’s tourism potentials previously, focusing also on the Albanian traditions, food as well as on the country’s stunning landscape and nature beauties.

Official data show that a total of 38,915 French tourists visited Albania from January to July, compared to 19,184 visitors during the same time of the previous year.

Data also show that 18 820 Spanish citizens visited Albania during this period, up from 4228 visitors last year.

Meanwhile, more than 90,000 tourists from Great Britain have visited Albania in the last seven months.
