An exhibition of visual art on the liberation war was opened today at the Prime Minister’s Office ceremonial hall.
Titled “Perspectives”, it shows through images and instillations the war and contribution of Albanians, along with the allies in World War II. Its images are shown through paintings, drawings and graphics by Albanian artists of the second half of the 20th century. The works belong to the fund of the National Gallery of Art.
The exhibition also brings a fund of works by Albanian and foreign artists after 1990.
Minister of Culture Mirela Kumbaro noted in her presentation that history in this exhibition is translated through the language of art.
“Perspectives” opened on the celebration day of the 70th anniversary of liberation with the contribution of the NGA.

Meanwhile, the building of the Prime Minister’s Office was opened to citizens and along with the exhibition it will remain open until after midnight. Visitors have the opportunity to see the Hall of Maps, the Government Meeting Hall and other locations.
