The Minister of Education and Sports delivered today the Public Report for the first 300 days of government in education. Leaders of the Ministry and educational agencies reported in detail on the main result of the work done in education in these 300 days, and said that this work is the basis for a radical reform to modernize the education system in Albania.

A new curriculum that brings closer Albania to the European Union has been drafted for the Undergraduate Education; An innovative management of the State Matura; The launch of the pilot project for the digitization of education; In 66 9-year system schools was launched the project “school as a community center”. But, most importantly, there has been a democratization and de-politicization of education.

In Higher Education, a final report was drafted to reform Higher Education and Scientific Research. For the first time, the process of verification of legality in all institutions of higher education was performed; A foreign accreditation agency was contracted for the assessment of 15 institutions of public and 44 non public higher education institutions.

A special importance for the future has the Agreement for the Unification of the Undergraduate Curriculum System of Albania with Kosovo.
