AT THE INVITATION OF PRESIDENT NURSULTAN NAZARBAYEV, PRIME MINISTER EDI RAMA IS ON A TWO-DAY VISIT TO KAZAKHSTAN.

Prime Minister Rama had his first meeting with the President of Kazakhstan, with whom he discussed economic cooperation between the two countries.

President Nazarbayev congratulated Prime Minister Rama on election victory and noted that the new Albanian government offers a new opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

Prime Minister Rama briefed President of Kazakhstan on reforms undertaken by the Albanian government, especially in the field of economy and tourism. Rama stressed the government’s readiness to welcome Kazakh investors, especially in tourism, infrastructure and transport, oil and gas, since Kazakhstan is one of the biggest manufacturers in the world.

Prime Minister Rama and President Nazarbayev discussed the importance of religious harmony that exists in Albania and the need to promote the spirit of co-existence in the entire Balkan region.

President Nazarbayev responded positively to the invitation of Prime Minister Rama to visit Albania.

During his visit to Albania, President Nazarbayev will be accompanied by a group of Kazak entrepreneurs, interested to invest in Albania.

In this visit, Prime Minister Rama was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Niko Peleshi .
