Ermal Nufi has served as Deputy Secretary General of the Prime Minister’s Office of the Republic of Albania, where he has contributed to institutional coordination, legal support, and the development of policymaking processes at the central government level.

He completed his master’s degree in law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Tirana in 2010. Following his graduation, Mr. Nufi worked as a lawyer and legal consultant, focusing on civil law, commercial law, and corporate governance matters.

Since 2013, he has been licensed as an attorney by the National Chamber of Advocacy, where he has also served as a member of the Governing Council of the Tirana Bar Association. During his professional career, he has also held the position of Legal Advisor to the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, as well as Chief of Staff to the Deputy Prime Minister.

He has also served in leadership roles on the boards of state institutions and public administration bodies, contributing to the drafting and analysis of public policies and to the strengthening of institutional governance practices.

In his role at the Prime Minister’s Office, he has been involved in interinstitutional coordination, supporting the decision-making processes of the Council of Ministers, as well as the development of government-level legislative and institutional initiatives.
