Another private investment is underway in Albania’s manufacturing sector favoured by the business climate and the country’s potential to expand investment projects. A new ultramodern Selita water treatment and bottling plant is the latest investment worth 20 million euros, employing state-of-the-art technology of the leading German company Krones, a packaging and bottling machine manufacturer.

Prime Minister Edi Rama toured the new plant premises located in Qafe Molle, Tirana, where he was welcomed by the plant managers and the Director of South-East Europe bei Krones AG.

Krones representative noted that Albania has potential for major investment projects and affirmed that the international leading company has been closely monitoring the country’s potential.

“New water processing and bottling plant is one of the largest investment projects in Kosovo and Albania. It is a modern plant with high manufacturing capacities. The investment has the potential to expand further. We have seen this potential long time ago,” he said.

With a daily production capacity of over 400,000 bottles, the plant is one of the largest investments in the region in this sector.
