The post-earthquake reconstruction projects in Fushe-Kruje are scheduled to complete by September. Prime Minister Edi Rama, accompanied by the Minister of State for Reconstruction Arben Ahmetaj, toured the huge construction site in the town affected by the devastating earthquake in November 2019. Reconstruction Minister said that construction of the single-family homes and the multi-family residential in Fushe-Kruje is set to fully complete by September. The town of Fushe-Kruje is being rebuilt from scratch as a model of the modern urban infrastructure and services after the area was hit hard by the earthquake.

“A total of 124 single-family homes and 150 apartment units are being built on this site. Work to construct the residential buildings will complete in September. Construction of single-family homes will also complete by then,” Reconstruction Minister Ahmetaj said.

Prime Minister Rama commended builders for the quality construction work. The residential buildings will also feature underground parking lots, while first floors will house businesses and service units. In the other hand, construction of single-family units is about to complete and the quake-affected families will soon receive the keys to their new homes.
