NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte confirmed that the Alliance’s next summit will take place in Albania, noting that the decision was made during the NATO Summit in The Hague. Hosting the summit in Albania will place the country at the centre of the Alliance’s attention, bringing together the heads of state and government of NATO member countries to discuss key security and defence issues.
