From Vlora, Prime Minister Rama wished all Albanians wherever they are a happy Independence Day.

Celebration of this day began at the Flag Square in Vlora, where 102 years ago the leader of delegates Ismail Qemali declared the independence and raised the Albanian flag.

The national anthem was accompanied by the raising of flag by two of our athletes, world champions in weightlifting, Daniel Godelli and Romela Begaj.

After the state ceremony attended by the highest authorities of the country, the Prime Minister paid tribute and laid a wreath on the grave of Ismail Qemali and bowed with the highest sense of gratitude and reverence for independence, the highest national act.
