THE NATO SUMMIT COMES TO WALES ON 4 TO 5 SEPTEMBER. IT IS CONSIDERED TO BE VERY IMPORTANT GIVEN THE ISSUES THAT WILL BE ADDRESSED. THE ALBANIAN DELEGATION IS LED BY PRIME MINISTER EDI RAMA AND IS COMPOSED OF THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS DITMIR BUSHATI AND THE MINISTER OF DEFENSE MIMI KODHELI.

The Summit, attended by high-level delegations of 28 member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance, was opened by the Secretary General of NATO, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, who noted that this summit will serve to strengthen the partnership Alliance in addressing common security challenges.

On the first day of the Summit the situation in Ukraine and Afghanistan is being discussed.
