At the Palace of Congresses in Tirana, a memorial service is being held in honor of Judge Astrit Kalaja, who tragically lost his life on October 6 while carrying out his duty in the courtroom of the Court of Appeals.

The ceremony is taking place in the presence of high-ranking representatives of state institutions and the justice system.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, along with the Minister of Justice, Mr. Besfort Lamallari, attended the memorial to pay their respects and express gratitude for Judge Kalaja’s contribution to the judicial system.
