Prime Minister Edi Rama will pay a working visit today to Tallinn, Estonia, to participate in the Lennart Meri Conference 2026, one of the leading international forums for debate on foreign policy, security and global geopolitical challenges, organised this year under the theme “Fortune Favours the Brave”.
Prime Minister Edi Rama has been invited to take part in the opening panel discussion, “A Bridge over Troubled Water: The Next Chapter of Transatlantic Cooperation”, alongside Euro-Atlantic leaders and senior representatives, where discussions will focus on the future of the transatlantic partnership, strengthening the European pillar of NATO, global security challenges, and the role of Ukraine in the new European security architecture.
As part of the visit, Prime Minister Edi Rama will hold a bilateral meeting with his counterpart, the Prime Minister of Estonia, Kristen Michal, at Stenbock House, which will be followed by a meeting between the two delegations. He will also be received by the President of Estonia, Alar Karis, at his office.
During his stay in Tallinn, Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Albanian delegation will visit the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence, where they will meet with the centre’s leadership and be briefed on its activities and role in strengthening cyber defence within NATO.
The agenda also includes a visit to the Maarjamäe Memorial dedicated to the victims of communism, as well as a stop at the e-Estonia Briefing Centre, one of the world’s best-known centres for innovation and digital governance.
Among other engagements, Prime Minister Edi Rama will give an interview to the Estonian daily Postimees on Albania’s perspective towards membership in the European Union.
