Prime Minister Edi Rama, on a visit to Berlin, Germany, upon invitation of the foundation Körber-Stiftung for a meeting with members of the Bundestag, had a meeting with the leader of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) in the Bundestag, Rolf Mutzenich.

Talks focused on ways to boost cooperation between the two parliamentary groups, the overall cooperation between Germany and Albania, as well as the regional cooperation in the context of a new geopolitical situation in the wake of the war in Ukraine.

Prime Minister Edi Rama affirmed commitment of the Albanian government to press ahead with its reforms agenda, and expressed gratitude for Germany’s support for Albania’s EU accession process.
