Prime Minister Rama received today the Chairman of the House of Representatives of Japan, Mr. Bunmei Ibuki, who is on an official visit to our country along with the accompanying parliamentary delegation.

Prime Minister Rama praised the excellent relations existing between Japan and Albania and said that the Albanian government is committed to extend in the future the cooperation between the two nations to new dimensions. While inviting Japanese investors to discover the potentials that Albania offers in sectors such as agriculture, tourism, etc., the Prime Minister stressed that the interest of foreign investors on our country has significantly increased recently as a result of the supporting policies of the Albanian Government and facilitations guaranteed to investors.

On his part, the Chairman of the Japanese Parliament praised the progress made by Albania in important areas and on achievements in consolidating democracy and strengthening the rule of law. Mr. Ibuki said that this visit and joint meetings will serve to identify and develop new collaborative spaces in various sectors. He stressed that Japan is ready to support through joint projects areas of interest to both countries.
