Prime Minister Edi Rama sent a letter of appreciation to the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken after his and the accompanying delegation visit to Tirana on February 15.

Prime Minister Rama expresses his appreciation to the US Secretary of State for his visit, reaffirming the Albanian Government’s unwavering commitment to the alliance with the United States and the shared goals of promoting democracy, the rule of law, and human rights.

Among others, the government head Rama emphasized importance of cooperation to reform other critical sectors of society, which are essential for the success of Albania’s EU integration path.

The Premier also renewed Albania’s unwavering commitment to regional peace and stability, highlighting the US continued support of Albania’s efforts to promote democracy and stability in the region.
