A high school graduation ceremony took place Monday at the newly-built and reborn Sami Frasheri secondary school in Tirana for students, who were lucky to attend the exams preparation process at the new education facility, which has become a role model for the educational institutions throughout the territory of the Republic of Albania.
Prime Minister Edi Rama, who attended the graduation ceremony, greeted the high school graduates on their happiest day, wishing them every success on the long and challenging path of education and knowledge.
“First of all, I would like to wholeheartedly express my best congratulations to your parents, to your mothers who have been standing by you every day and impatiently waiting for you to come back home when you are late at night and who wish the best of this world for you all. I am sure their daughters definitely appreciate their mothers’ sacrifices and I hope the same will be the case with the boys who should never forget the sacrifices and the support of their parents.
I also avail myself of this opportunity and there couldn’t be the best and most appropriate venue to extend the most heartfelt congratulations to the parents of all high school graduates this year all over Albania.
Second, I would also like to congratulate and extend wholeheartedly gratitude to all of your teachers for all the difficulties they have encountered, for all the care they have shown, but also for the respect you demonstrate for them, because you spontaneously erupted into applause when your teachers were mentioned.
And the last thing I want to say is that I feel sorry that you have to leave now that the new school will open its doors in September, but there are several schools, or a few of them to be more precise, including Sami Frashëri high school, that are not merely schools, but a brotherhood living on over years and decades.
In the meantime, I believe that I and the high school graduates could be the only ones not being graduated in a master of PHD degree program. I am a painter degree holder, but what matters most is that you should never give up making any of your daydreaming come true.
Be careful of dreaming with open eyes or daydreaming, but believe and create your vision. This world belongs to those who never give up.
This world belongs to those who courageously and patiently keep working hard to make their dreams come true and I sincerely wish all of you to make your dreams come true.
I am concluding now since I am pretty sure that none of you missed me.
Thank you very much and I wish you every success. All it takes is confidence and patience. There is nothing one can’t achieve through confidence and patience.
Thank you!
