Letter of Prime Minister Edi Rama to the new Prime Minister of Kosovo Isa Mustafa:

Mr. Prime Minister,

Dear Isa,

Your appointment at the high office of Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo is undoubtedly a milestone for You and the entire nation. It is a special pleasure to convey, on this occasion, best wishes for success in this high task entrusted to you.

Our relationship is a relationship between brothers and simultaneously a cornerstone for a strategic partnership in the future. The region and its sustainable development require that this relationship, which is unique for its nature and history, be much more solid, efficient and peace-forming. Albania and Kosovo should remain a pioneering binomial for the most hopeful perspectives in the Balkans and the living example of a longed and deserved integration in the European Union.

Whatever may the difficulties be, I am strongly convinced that in cooperation with the new coalition government, led by you, the actualization of priorities of our common agenda will accelerate. In this historical process, we are encouraged and strongly supported by the Berlin Summit platform.

You know that for Kosovo authorities the door of the Prime Minister of Albania remains always open. In a more convenient time for you, a visit of the Prime Minister of Kosovo to Tirana would be more than welcome.
