Prime Minister Edi Rama is on an official visit to Qatar at the invitation of the Emir of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The Prime Minister received a warm welcome at a special official ceremony attended by the highest ranking state officials.

Prime Minister Rama was received at a special meeting from the Qatar’s Emir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. During the meeting, the two interlocutors praised the good relations between the two countries and voiced their commitment to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest, mainly in tourism and infrastructure. Tourism development and bilateral trade was highlighted as a priority.
