The Prime Minister Edi Rama had today a meeting with representatives of Albanian Insurers Association.

During the meeting, the participants took up for discussion the concerns of the public and of the association on matters relevant to the field of insurances.

The Prime Minister stressed that this field conists of a great potential for development of Albania and as a consequence a full strategy of development for the future is need, while aiming to distance ourselves once and for good from the constant patches made to the sector.

The Prime Minister required from the Minister of Economic Development Arben Ahmetaj to organize special sessions of consultations with the Albanian Insurers Association to prepare within one month deadline a strategic plan for the sector.

The Prime Minister highlighted that the public interest will always be at the focus of this new strategy.
