We also discussed the region. Singapore recognized Kosovo a few weeks ago, which is a very important step for Kosovo, but also a step that brings us closer”, Prime Minister said in a statement released after the meeting with the Prime Minister of Singapore.

The potentials that Albania can offer were also discussed in a meeting between counterparts who considered them as a powerful attraction for investors in various fields. “Albania has some important potentials, but the focus is always energy, oil, minerals and tourism. Interest has been shown also for manufacturing or agro-processing, attracted much interest and were a matter of very interesting discussion. With the Prime Minister, we discussed also exchanges in our interest, in terms of fiscal management, as here there is has a great knowledge and exemplary infrastructure for fiscal administration and public order, and Singapore is a champion in terms of how it has organized the whole structure and how it has managed to create a large space of safety, total predictability and mutual contribution in view of a pretty social state.”

When asked about the airport infrastructure, the Prime Minister said: “In terms of airport infrastructure with a focus primarily on tourism, we have done a great job this year to create the conditions that have already attracted great interest, not only here, but also from other countries.
