Some 388 legalization permits were distributed today to residents of Kukes and surrounding municipalities personally by Prime Minister Rama in a meeting with them. The Prime Minister noted that in such a short time the number of legalizations is higher than those made during 8 years of the previous government.

Director of ALUIZNI Artan Lame said municipalities that could not even register have been included in the legalization process for the first time.

Halil Cengu, a resident of the neighborhood 5 of Kukës, was the first one to receive from the Prime Minister the legalization certificate of his home after six years of waiting. “First of all, thank you very much Mr. Prime Minister. I have waited for this certificate for 6 years and finally here it is in my hand” – he said thrilled.

Liman Tafili thanked the Prime Minister for the permit and showed him gratitude for keeping his promise. “Thank you Mr. Prime Minister. You kept your promise. Go on doing so and Albanians will always respect you”.

The three-storey house of Ymer Sopaj was legalized after 5 years he had submitted his application. While receiving the certificate, Ymer thanked the Director of ALUIZNI for their work and dedication. “Thank you for this certificate. I waited 5 years to receive it”.
