Gile Bae, an internationally acclaimed classical pianist and a child prodigy of the piano music, performed in a concert at the hall of the Prime Minister’s office on Saturday evening, inciting unforgettable emotions among an audience of artists, classical music enthusiasts, students and art lovers. The extraordinary pianist performed in pianoforte for the selected audience and friends at the Centre for Openness and Dialogue, attended by the Prime Minister Edi Rama, who was accompanied by his spouse Linda Rama. In his remarks, Prime Minister Edi Rama hailed Gile Bay as a star of piano music, saying her performance in Tirana was materialized thanks to the collaboration with the prominent Italian art critic Vittorio Sgarbi. “After having agreed to meet to discuss a planned joint art and culture project – but I can’t disclose more detail as the project is still under discussion – Sgarbi pledged he will be visiting Tirana together with pianist Gile Bae, a star of the piano classical music, who willingly offered to play the piano here in this space that Vittorio himself likes very much, as a cultural space in the palace of power,” PM Rama said.
