More love, care and attention is all people in need, children, the elderly, persons with disabilities, victims of violence and trafficking want in this year-end period.

Under the motto “Celebrations need love”, a special activity was organized by the Ministry of Social Welfare and Youth in 28 residential care centres. Approximately 500 residents of these institutions attended celebrations and were distributed gifts.

Ministers, MPs, mayors, media partners and government organizations, public figures having a saying in the public opinion, were part of these celebrations and conveyed greetings and messages of solidarity.

Prime Minister Edi Rama celebrated today with the elderly in residential care centre in Tirana. Unlike other years, this institution has a transformed infrastructure and provides better living conditions for the elderly.

“I wish you with all my heart a happy New Year, and may you be cheerful, in harmony and in peace”, Prime Minister Rama wished to the elderly.
