Two Myrtollari brothers, who have return back to their home after many years of working and living in Greece, thanks to their hard work and through the support from the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency, they fulfilled their dream to breathe life into a horse country resort. Thanks to Hilmi’s experience as a jockey in horse racing and winner of several racing tournaments in Greece, he offers horse riding lessons for kids and young people, while organizing horse convoys to tour the surrounding area.
Prime Minister Edi Rama visited the village of Turan in Korça district for a firsthand experience in this tourist attraction, about which he said that “it is yet another reason to visit the area.”
After returning back to their home in 2013, passion and desire drove brothers Hilmi and Elton Myrtollari to build a destination attractive to visitors from all over the country. “Their passion has been materialized in this investment thanks to the support from the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency. It is an investment as part of local tourism sector in the Municipality of Korça. The two brothers plan to launch tours to other villages in Korça, enriching the tourism offer for the visitors who choose Korça as their holiday destination,” Korça Mayor Sotiraq Filo said.
