The true fact, as this Job Fair also shows, is that job opportunities are still much higher. I mean that here in Lezha we can find fantastic examples of young people who do not waste time by waiting in a coffee bar, in Facebook, at the MP’s or political parties’ door, but they launch initiatives on their own to generate jobs for themselves and others,” Prime Minister said, adding: “The promotion of new agro-tourism programme will yield very positive results, especially for the young people in the rural areas who want not simply to take up a job, but also to earn higher income through entrepreneurial initiative.”

On her part, the Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy, Danja Sorensen, underlined that in addition to the new job positions, the employers and business operators have opened their doors to you people who wish to take up paid-training jobs and attend vocational training courses at these businesses.

“The National Employment Service has currently announced over 700 job positions with around 1000 young people applying to fill these vacancies. A very positive experience is the fact that young people aged 16 and 17, vocational school students, are attending professional training at these businesses. Businesses have offered and made available not only free job positions, but they have also opened their doors to young people who are ready to embark on their very first working experience. A number of Kolon Gjoka high school students are attending paid training at Mrizi I Zanave restaurant,” the Minister of Economy and Finance, Danja Sorensen said.
