Albanian Government Council of Ministers

Shkodra citizens are now provided the opportunity to benefit quality, transparent and accessible services at the new regional office of the Agency for the Delivery of Integrated Services (ADISA) in the north-western city. The newly-opened ADISA regional office in Shkodra delivers around 400 services and other local offices will be launched in a near future. Prime Minister Edi Rama visited the city of Shkodra, accompanied by ADISA Director Lorin Ymeri to attend inauguration ceremony of the new regional office. “The centre has currently a total of 23 desks, including an information desk, complaint desk, and two wickets of the Albanian Post Office. The new Cadastre Agency has been also housed in the new centre, along with the Social Insurance office, the National Business Registration Centre, local tax administration office and local municipal services centre. The centre is projected to handle an average of 350-400 people a day,” Director General of ADISA said.

The new regional ADISA office has already kicked off its public service delivery in Shkodra and local residents acknowledge that quick, transparent and correct services are being provided by the ADISA employees, sparing citizens of the trouble to collect unnecessary documents and efforts to gain certain public services. “The truth is that ADISA has yielded positive results in delivering public services wherever its offices have been opened across the country. The new premises offer comfortable conditions and helps citizens to gain public services without having to wander in vain and without having to meet in person the employees and officials tasked with public service delivery,” PM Rama said in his remarks.

These offices are equipped with an electronic management system and infrastructure tailored for people with disabilities. “In collaboration with the association of people with disabilities, we have also made a video recording, interpreting services for hearing impaired individuals using sign language. Another innovation we will be introducing here and expand then to all centres is the online service desk. In cooperation with National Agency for Information Society (AKSHI) we made available a specific desk to assist and educate citizens to use electronic services,” ADISA Director said.
