Prime Minister Rama held a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Rama stressed the importance of Albania’s relations with China, both in the field of trade and economy, but also in culture and education.

Prime Minister Rama urged and increased cooperation in agriculture and Chinese investment in energy and infrastructure.

Premier Li Keqiang appraised the excellent relations between the two countries and expressed satisfaction for this third meeting in a year with Albanian Prime Minister.

On behalf of the Chinese Government, Premier Li Keqiang expressed the desire to increase agricultural imports from Albania, as well as to enhance investments of Chinese companies in energy production and infrastructure development, which will help not only Albania but the interconnection of our country with the main highways in the Balkans and Eastern Europe.
