Albanian Government Council of Ministers

Following the complaint of a citizen from Mirdita submitted at shqiperiaqeduam.al co-governance platform related to a healthcare centre in Domgjon administrative unit which lacked electric power and making it dysfunctional, is now resolved by restoring energy back. An issue solved thanks to the cooperation with citizens. Meanwhile it is being worked with OSHEE (Electric Power Distribution Operator) to restore electric power to other medical centres, voiced by citizens on co-governance portal. The Prime Minister said that thanks to citizens’ complaints on www.shqiperiaqeduam.al, Domgjon’s Health Centre Director is dismissed.

Prime Minister Rama accompanied by Minister of Health and Social Protection praised shqiperiaqeduam.al, platform as an instrument on the hands of ordinary people which responds to any complaint or request within a ten days time span while citizens have obtained a solution in 90% of cases. In this regard, Minister of Health Manastirliu thanked the citizen who took a three minute of his time to submit a complaint on the portal. “I take advantage of the occasion to thank the gentleman who placed us in front of such a responsibility. Electric power was lacking here while now around 37 centres are connected to electric power. Whereas, nurse services is offered according to already designated timetables and the physicians periodically come and offer services in the healthcare centre,” Minister Manastirliu said.

The Prime Minister also availed himself of the opportunity to state that 300 healthcare centres will be reconstructed or constructed from zero across Albania during the upcoming four years. “We will reconstruct or construct, depending on the situation, 300 healthcare centres across Albania in these four years. There will be over 80 this year and our aim is to pass from an inexistent service to a fully operational healthcare centre state in order to face the first need-affordable inflow while people do not necessarily have to rush towards regional hospitals or towards Tirana, in a way that facilitates hospitals themselves from the overload,” Prime Minister Rama said.

The Premier reiterates the call on all those bearing a request or complaint to register on co-governance platform. “Co-governance works and to work even better it has to be a power-sharing. Hence not merely us but citizens including, who better than sighing and complaining about non-provided services, need three minutes to submit a complaint on shqipëriaqeduam.al platform and will receive a reply on their complaint, request or either concern within 10 days,” Prime Minister said.
