Today, Prime Minister Edi Rama honored the memory and sacrifice of the martyrs of the National Liberation War, at the ceremony held at the Martyrs Cemetery on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Homeland.
The Prime Minister laid a wreath and bowed in a sign of respect, before the monument “Mother Albania”.
The highest representatives of the state, President Bujar Nishani, Speaker of the Parliament Ilir Meta, Cabinet ministers, MPs and War veterans also paid tribute and laid wreaths.
“Happy November 29th to everyone on this 70th anniversary of the liberation of Albania! –Prime Minister Rama greeted today the Albanians, on Liberation day.
