Prime Minister Edi Rama, also in his capacity as Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, handed over the leadership of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to the current Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mr. Gent Cakaj, during a ceremony at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

The former Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati, the foreign ministry staff, Albanian diplomatic corps accredited abroad and diplomatic corps accredited to Tirana attended the ceremony.

“I the undersigned Edi, Rama, in my capacity as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania and the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, delegate to Mr. Gent Cakaj, Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the leadership of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and representation of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs in the country and to international organizations,” PM Rama stated as he delegated the institutions leadership.
