Prime Minister Edi Rama will participate in the Conference on the Recovery of Ukraine (Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026), which is taking place on June 25–26 in Gdańsk, Poland, with the participation of heads of state and government, international financial institutions, business representatives, and civil society organizations from all over the world.
The conference aims to strengthen international support for Ukraine and to mobilize investments for the reconstruction and long-term development of the country. Its proceedings will focus on the sectors most affected by Russian aggression, including energy, critical infrastructure and logistics, as well as on strengthening security and defense capacities, considered essential for the reconstruction process.
Prime Minister Edi Rama will be received by the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, and together with the delegation accompanying him, will participate in the official opening ceremony of the Conference, where he will afterwards deliver a greeting address in its second plenary session.
During his stay in Gdańsk, Prime Minister Edi Rama will hold a series of bilateral meetings with counterparts. As part of the agenda, the Prime Minister will also meet with executives of international companies, including representatives from the energy and investment sectors, with a focus on promoting economic cooperation and new development opportunities.
The Conference on the Recovery of Ukraine serves as the main international platform for coordinating political, financial and economic support for Ukraine, bringing together public and private actors in support of the country’s recovery and long-term transformation.
