Prime Minister Rama held a meeting with Swedish Parliament Chairman, Urban Ahlin.

During the meeting, the two dignitaries shared the common view that relations between the two countries stand on firm ground, based on mutual respect and understanding. There is full will on both parties to further strengthen them.

Prime Minister Rama underlined the deep gratitude to Sweden as an early supporter of comprehensive development of Albania and its perspective of European integration.

Chairman Ahlin assured that the Swedish support will be constant in meeting the integration priorities.

The meeting also focused on developments in the region, for which the common belief was that its European future is a great force for the consolidation of peace and prosperity in the region.
