Prime Minister Rama welcomed at a meeting the President of the Republic of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov, who is on an official visit in Tirana accompanied by his delegation.
Talks between the parties focused on strengthening cooperation in the framework of joint regional projects supported by the EU.
Prime Minister Rama and President Ivanov noted the good relations that exist between the two countries and expressed the common will to consolidate them in view of respect and good-neighbor policy, as well as of the common European future.
The two dignitaries shared the commitment to make cooperation between Albania and Macedonia more fruitful in the future, particularly in areas such as infrastructure, transport, energy, which will serve the economic development of both countries.
