Prime Minister Edi Rama travelled today to Istanbul, Turkey, where he will participate in the World Oil Congress, one of the most important oil and gas industry events globally. Tomorrow Prime Minister Rama will address the Congress in the central session, with the participation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, presidents and prime ministers from various countries, as well as actors and important stakeholders in the industry.
The congress will discuss the sector’s developments with the objective of responding to challenges and shaping the future of the oil and gas industry.
Today, Prime Minister Edi Rama had a meeting with President Erdoğan at the presidential residence.
During a 90-minute meeting, joint projects were discussed, as well as a substantial progress of the Vlora Airport and the Albanian airline, with Turkish Airlines’ logistics and technical assistance.
