Prime Minister Edi Rama received today the Deputy Prime Minister and concurrently Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium, Didier Reynders.

The conversation focused on the European perspective of Albania, for which the Albanian Government remains fully committed to the successfully meet all obligations required by the integration process.

Prime Minister Rama expressed gratitude for the support that Belgium has given and continues to give Albania on its path towards the EU. He also emphasized the willingness of the Government to go ahead with the implementation of reforms, having as a priority the judicial reform.

On his part, Deputy Prime Minister and concurrently Minister of Foreign Affairs Reynders, who is paying this visit in the context of the Belgian Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, expressed satisfaction with the progress of reforms in the country and assured that Belgium will continue to support the process of European integration of Albania, in the next stages.
