Prime Minister Edi Rama today received the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs and Special Envoy for the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar, who is on an official to Albania.

The meeting took place in a very friendly spirit and focused on the excellent partnership between Albania and the United States, Albania’s important role in the region, the indispensable Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and the Open Balkans, as a transformative initiative for the region’s future, which the President Joe Biden administration strongly supports. 

The U.S. Ambassador to Albania, Mrs. Yuri Kim also attended the meeting.
