Prime Minister Edi Rama visited the fireplace manufacturing superfabric in Korçë, owned by entrepreneur Arben Xega, an investment equipped with contemporary technology, where over 100 ecological models of fireplaces are produced, mainly intended for export to around 30 countries worldwide.
Dozens of young people and local residents are employed in this enterprise, with average salaries of around 700 thousand old lek.
The factory owner, Arben Xega, said that the company has managed to expand its presence in European markets.
“Since the last time, we have also sent the product to Germany, and what has happened is that we have become members of a German cooperative, which was founded 117 years ago, and we are its first foreign member company,” the entrepreneur said.
Prime Minister Edi Rama praised the development of this enterprise and presented the new support opportunities for manufacturing businesses.
“This is, in fact, a medium-sized enterprise. We have the new programme with second-tier banks and the Bank of Albania, which offers companies loans with lower interest rates and guarantees of up to 2 million euros, so you can make use of it,” the Prime Minister said.
This enterprise is considered an example of the development of Albanian manufacturing industry, which, through innovation, exports and youth employment, is strengthening the presence of “Made in Albania” products in international markets.
