Press release of the Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu after the meeting of the Council of Ministers:

The Government remains committed to taking all the necessary steps in facilitating and eliminating any excessive, unnecessary and consequently burdensome bureaucracy that is tedious for our citizens, whether it is about obtaining public services from state institutions or about administrative procedures.

In view of our commitment to facilitate the relationship of citizens with public administration, the Council of Ministers has made today another important step by deciding the following:

For all citizens who need to obtain or submit documents to the administration offices this week, we have increased the number of documents that can be obtained online at the e-Albania portal, both by citizens and public institutions that need them.

Pension certificates and the Health Card can be obtained by citizens on the e-Albania portal starting this week.

Most importantly, citizens will not be required anymore to submit these documents to state institutions that need them for their own procedures. Thus, all those who are delivered services will be spared unnecessary wanderings around.
