Prime Minister Edi Rama today paid tribute to patriot fighters battling Italian occupiers in 1920 at an event marking the 100th anniversary of the Vlora War. At the state ceremonial commemorating this memorable day, PM Rama laid a wreath and bowed his head in honour and respect at the memorial of the “National War of Vlora 1920” in the southern coastal city.
At a special ceremony marking this event a day ago, PM Rama said that Vlora war is one of rarest struggles in the history of wars worldwide, with united patriot fighters succeeding in achieving one of the most beautiful and impressive victories in the long history of military strategies and wars.
