Prime Minister Edi Rama met with the Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, in Brussels today. The two discussed in a positive spirit the sustainable progress towards fulfilling the key integration priorities ahead of the European Commission’s annual Progress Report due to be released on April 17.

Progress of the vetting process was also highlighted during the meeting, as implementation of the vetting process is about to enter a crucial stage this week with the beginning of public hearings with senior judges and prosecutors before the first instance commission.
