FRENCH PRESIDENT FRANÇOISE HOLLANDE RECEIVED THE ALBANIAN PRIME MINISTER EDI RAMA IN A SPECIAL MEETING IN ELYSEE PALACE TODAY.

In the meeting, Hollande expressed the France support to Albania’s European integration and reiterated that the country is viewed as stability promoter in the Balkans.

On focus were also the relations between the two countries, with President Hollande appraising the increased cooperation in culture, economy, as well as the area of police and military.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Edi Rama thanked President François Hollande of the continuous support France has been giving to Albania.

At the invitation of PM Rama to visit Tirana, President Hollande responded with the consideration that it could become reality in the near future.

Present in the meeting were also the French Foreign Minister, Laurent Fabius and the Albanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati.
